The Long Long Lily

This sweet girl hit the 15 month mark the day after Christmas.  We will go visit our wonderful pediatrician tomorrow to get all of her measurements.  But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this girl is thriving.  Good grief, we love her.

Sometimes people ask me dumb questions.  One of my favorites is when people ask what I'm going to do with such tall kids.  Currently I just tell people I will wear heals more frequently.  And have them reach the things that I need that are on the top shelves of stores.  Having tall kids is going to be awesome.

Every Wednesday and Sunday I teach/have fun with the 12 and 13 year old girls who at my church.  One of the women I serve with is 6'2".  Our babies are the same size.  We think it's pretty great.  Her 2nd oldest daughter is in our class and complained to me that she recently did a 'what's your future height' test and ended up being predicted to be the shortest in her family at 5'10".  I love tall people.

  3. Way to look at things on the bright side! I'm fairly sure my kids will all grow to be a lot taller than me, and I've been moaning about the fact that I will not be able to keep anything out of their reach for long. But now that you mention it, they can be my reachers when they're older!
